850m high.Near the ski resorts of Col du Legal and Mandailhes –Puy Mary( cross-country skiing), a paradise for snow-shoes hikers in winter, and in summer for hikers and nature lovers ( flora and wild life still preserved, wonderful landscapes), numerous signs for walking and hiking tours, GR 400.
Trout fishing in the river Jordanne, tennis 5 km . A mythical staging point in Le Tour de France, Puy Mary is the necessary climb for any self respecting bicycle touring lover.( see the highly successful bicycle touring week in 2003 in Aurillac).
Aurillac 20 km, food shops 5 km( itinerant food sale during the week).Very quiet, in the south. Ideally located.
